Empowering Voters & Volunteers 

The first step in empowering voters is ensuring they are properly registered. The key to empowering volunteers is training!

On Tuesday, August 19, Nicole Hill of the Anne Arundel County Board of Elections will lead a virtual training session for volunteer voter registration distributors (VRDs), explaining Maryland's voter registration process in detail and answering frequently asked questions. Participants will not only be prepared to register voters themselves, they'll have the knowledge and confidence to mentor other volunteers, building LWVAAC's capacity for voter service. 

Community organizations regularly look to our League for help with voter registration and education. Please plan to attend on August 19 and become a valued member of LWVAAC's Voter Services team.
