This year's Annual Membership Meeting and Dinner will be held Wednesday, May 13 from 5:00 to 8:30 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Annapolis.
The annual event will begin at 5pm with registration and a formal meeting for LWVAAC members to vote on important League business, including electing directors, amending bylaws and adopting a budget. Items that require member approval will be emailed to LWVAAC members and posted on this site one month prior to the meeting.
A social hour will follow the business session, with cash bar and a three-course plated meal. The evening will conclude with a presentation and book-signing by educator Lindsey Cormack, PhD, author of How to Raise a Citizen (And why it's up to you to do it).

Guest speaker: Lindsey Cormack
Lindsey Cormack, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the DCinbox at Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as the author of How to Raise a Citizen (And why it's up to you to do it). A sought-after and engaging public speaker, Dr. Cormack discusses the importance of understanding politics and offers concrete ways parents, grandparents, and other caregivers can help youth build the skills and confidence they need to engage in our democracy.
