LWVAAC welcomes you!  All persons aged 16 or older are invited to become a full voting member of our county League as well as the League of Women Voters of Maryland (LWVMD) and the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS).  

Our annual membership dues are $65 for an individual and $95 for a household (two people at the same address). Membership is FREE for students who are currently enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited institution. 

By authorizing payment of the annual membership dues, you affirm that you are at least 16 years of age and that you subscribe to the policies and purposes of the League of Women Voters.

As an organization, the League of Women Voters adheres to a strict nonpartisan policy.  The League never supports or opposes any political party or candidate.  In addition, the League of Women Voters is an organization fully committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in principle and in practice. Diversity, equity and inclusion are central to the organization’s current and future success in engaging all individuals, households, communities and policy makers in creating a more perfect democracy.

The purposes of the League of Women Voters are to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation in government and to act only on public policy issues that have been studied by its membership.
