TOGETHER WE CAN!

LWVAAC is working to build community ties. Over the past year, we’ve shared resources and partnered with more organizations than ever before. Our voter services team collaborated with a dozen area nonprofits to host a candidate forum that reached residents across Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District. Our volunteers regularly work side-by-side with community partners, registering and informing voters, at public events and in county schools. League members establish new connections by speaking to community groups about the importance of voting and civic participation.
