Will you join me on Sunday, October 23 and/or October 30, for a walk around Westfield Mall, in support of the state League's Get to the Polls Maryland fundraising campaign?
I plan to walk inside so the weather can't interfere. In true League fashion, we'll be multitasking...exercising, socializing AND raising awareness and money for LWVMD's invaluable voter service and advocacy activities.
Everyone is welcome and I'd love your company. We'll meet in the food court at 11 a.m. My goal is to walk for an hour and you can join me for as much as you like or simply wave as I pass by. If you plan to walk, please wear patriotic colors and League or voting buttons if you have them. We'll have VOTE411 cards available to hand out to interested shoppers.
Contributions are welcome but not required. All funds raised will be donated to LWVMD's Get to the Polls Maryland campaign.
