Planet vs. Plastics

For Earth Day 2024, EARTHDAY.ORG is taking on plastics, demanding a 60% reduction in the production of ALL plastics by 2040, for the sake of human and planetary health.

To commemorate Earth Day locally, please join LWVAAC for a guided tour of the Millersville Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility on Tuesday, April 16. Learn firsthand what happens to discarded plastic and other waste in Anne Arundel County. Find out ways you can help EARTHDAY.ORG achieve its goal.
